Materials

Pick your colours.

Three choices on every rebind: the leather, the thread, and the ribbons. Everything else, I take care of.

Leather

Two leathers, both from Badalassi Carlo in Tuscany — Pueblo and Waxy, in 39 colours between them. The full selection lives on its own page.

Thread

I stitch every Bible by hand with Ritza Tiger thread, 0.6mm — a braided polyester thread made in Denmark. It is strong, clean, and holds for life. Match it to your leather for a quiet look, or pick a contrast colour to make the stitching stand out.

Ribbons

I sew in Berisfords double-faced satin ribbon markers. This is their shade card — every colour, with its name. Pick the colour you want to see every day; most folks match the leather or the thread. If you’re torn between two, ask me.
